Preserving EyesightMost people are looking after of their health and one’s eyesight is as important as anything else.  In this same manner, knowing what’s good for our eyes would help us improve or maintain a good eyesight. There are fruits and vegetables recommended by specialists to keep a good eyesight.

Your Mom always told you to eat your carrots because they were good for your eyes. Well, as an Optometrist I am here to tell you, she was right!

We now know there are foods that are even better preserving eyesight than carrots in that respect.

Fruits are packed with nutrition, supercharged with antioxidants, and full of phytonutrients. I’m not talking about the mundane boring few well waxed tasteless varieties we find in the local grocery store. But real super fruits with deep full colors grown in soils rich in organics, and far from the pollution and runoff from big cities and industries.
