In today’s era, we are often caught up in so many things that concentration may be really hard to attain.  Yet, we need it to be able to work efficiently or to study for a major test.  Here are a few tips to improve your concentration easily.

Short-term Solutions to Improve Concentration:

“1. Make a tally of every time your mind wanders on a 3×5 card.
2. Set aside specific times during the day in order to let your mind wander or your concentration drift.
3. Help improve the flow of oxygen to the brain.
4. Remember to give your brain a quick break at least every hour, at most every 30 minutes.
5. Practice doing one thing at a time, and doing it to completion.
6. Be aware of the spider technique. Be like the spider and turn a blind eye to distractions that you know can throw you off your concentration.
7. Do work at a desk, not your bed.
8. Try the five-more rule. Whenever you feel like quitting or losing concentration, tell yourself to do five more of whatever you were doing.”
